When we acquire knowledge it is a great thing
And changes to our lives it can certainly bring,
It can open doors that were once closed to us
And show us things that are quite wondrous.
With knowledge we become more intelligent
This is a fact that is more than evident,
Knowledge is power in the right hands
And attention this knowledge then commands.
Sadly, intelligent people can be incredibly stupid
At times they can even seem anything but lucid,
So let`s sum this up once and for all
We may even find that there`s a shortfall.
