feathers for peace©
The proudest of all peacocks for sure
nice as you please,
each feather stands for
the 13 original colonies.
While the peacock for NBC,
is full of color and beauty.
The peacock for the USA is rare,
it tells a story there.
Each and every star,
is for how honored we are.
The red stripes for valor,
the white stripes for the pure.
The blue stands for bravery and grace,
as we unite when our enemies we face.
The flag is a symbol for
few love as grand,
may hatred be no more
when together the pure of heart stand.
Back in the day of
our forefathers long ago,
there was no greed and love of power
that today is needed so.
No you can't keep up with
what's been goin on thru unsettling ways,
but with feathers for peace
maybe the whole world will
flock together to happy days.
May those responsible for
the strangled cries,
make their heart a slave
before all hope dies!
