 The Unfairness Of Angels

The failings of humanity

The failings of humanity
Is our failure to accept mortality
We talk about creation
Creating Gods from our imagination
Yet our greatest failure
Is to separate us from nature
Yes we can talk, think and build
But so do the mice in the corn field
We are nature, we are born, then we die
Yet we continue to question and ask why?
Is our certain death, such a surprise?
That what we fear, we call lies
Yes, we work, build homes, have morals
Get married, then divorce because of squabbles
Read books, watch TV,  make phone calls
And judge others by our own morals
Does that make us free from death?
How can we take a final breath?
Should we be excluded from the ultimate end?
Humans can't follow natures trend?
This is the failings of humanity
Failure to accept our mortality!
