Back to the dawn

Is a miracle.
Yet the darkness
Of things
That have been
Going on since there
Were creatures
To fight
Over resources
Of life,
Have clamored
To take
Our attention
Away from
Such miracles.
Attention.
Awareness.
Breaking the
Monotony
Of doldrums
And problems
Only takes
A little nudge
Off the cliff…
Derailing the
Negativity train
Sometimes comes
In the smallest
Forms…
Breath.
In through the nose
Out through the mouth.
Simply notice…
And then
Freedom…
And the world
Is reborn…
Into a Universe
Of Miracles…
That we can
Now notice.
My heart beats,
A fly is an amazing
Creation to defy
Physics,
A cut heals
Without my forcing
It to,
Clean water
Never tasted so good,
Your smile floods
My memory,
And I am reminded
How amazing
It all is
That everything
We take for granted
On a daily basis
Is even possible!
It is in
This momentary
Awareness,
That when one
Pays attention,
Really sees,
Understands,
When gazing upon
The present moment,
That there is NO
Such thing
As an Ordinary
Moment.
