CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY
Destiny is something
we bring into being with
the power of our own life force…
whatever our thoughts are,
whatever seeds others plant in us,
whatever our beliefs about ourselves,
will come to be, inevitably.
And we name it destiny,
and we blame the stars,
or God, or the devil…
listening to the rhetoric of elitists,
listening to our own inner melancholia,
listening to whatever might explain it away,
will excuse our own failings.
While we watch, our own ‘destiny'
escapes from our grasp by
not altering our thoughts…
wishing it could be different,
wishing we were someone else,
wishing life were easier,
will forever keep us trapped.
Choose instead your destiny
by believing in your own power,
in the spirit the universe connects to…
accepting the gifts life can offer,
accepting the character you can build,
accepting that all things are possible,
will manifest all you have dreamed.
