love is the law©

This poem in no way
is about any 1 person,
it's about 1 work of art
that lies within.
There are many that imitate life
with no heart,
but there's no love there
so neither one will win.................

This here's the story
of life's great mystery,
while some are happy and gay
others can't help but play.
She tempts with her eyes
behind a clever disguise,
but what lies within
is not love what a sin.
Finding someone she thinks is weak
and his demise she will seek,
but he stands tall and proud
cause only looking is allowed.
He's committed to his mate
so he doesn't take the bait,
telling her there's more to catch you see
so don't come around here
trying to get your hooks in me.
He won't bite off more than he can chew
he's cast off better than you,
once he's caught his limit
the heart won't allow anymore near it.
The mystery is solved right here
and it's very clear,
if you can't stay in your own pond
then beware of what lies beyond!
