Poetic Verses
The Prank
Two brothers, one named John and the and the other called Frank
Spend most of their waking hours having fun and playing a prank
Sometimes they may provide some moments of hilarity
Other times their efforts brought out emotions to the contrary.
This situation caused their mother to react in anger
She said “ see your prank almost put someone in danger
What the two of you may perceive as having a bit of fun
Someday may be a threat to the life of someone.”
They both listen with their heads hanging in shame
But as always they were mentally planning the next game
Then like a hare they ran into the woods and among trees
The first thing they noticed was a hive of bees.
They both smile and immediately in them something sank
These will be the medium used for their next prank
They will stir up the bees make them angry and in such great fury
Will take their ire out on and mercilessly sting somebody.
They did not have to wait long footsteps were coming on the footpath
Laughing as they stirred up the bees to full wrath
Then with such speed and blessed with agility
Eluded the bees and were able to run to safety.
The unsuspecting person was not that lucky
Was set upon by the bees and got stung mercilessly
They from their hiding place began to laugh out loudly
But became silent as the person's shouts bore some familiarity
The both peered out and then there was great terror
As the person being stung was no other than there father
Then the words of their mother now rang quite clearly
Their father was now in danger because of his bee sting allergy.
