Truth, together we were but can't be.

Truth is painful to bear.
Our hearts have chosen to tear.
With one long kiss,
we sunk into the abyss.
Into the night, we embraced the darkness.
In each others arms grew comfort, no awkwardness.
Still we lay, candles flicker burning bright.
Tender moments realized, into the night.
So good together, we are fun.
The rude awakening is we are over and done.
