 JANET'S PLANET

Addiction

the lonely road to you Pictures, Images and Photos

Traveling with a heavy load
On a long rough road
Addictive behavior out of control
Loose living nothing to hold

It's no use
Abuse is abuse
No Matter what they say
It never goes away

Like being down in a deep dark pit
If you try to hide it
You just can't win
Same thing over again and again

It never leaves the mind
They always find
A way to get it
They just can't quit it

No matter how hard they try
They do nothing but deny and lie
It has them in a bind
Like shackles on the mind

They are very clever
It's like forever
They'll look for an excuse
Then it comes again, the abuse

Don't fight
You can never make it right
They will win every time
A sickness becomes a deadly crime

Promises sincerely made
No sooner made, immediately fade
It's like playing the game, hide and seek
Every corner, cupboard, place, and space, they sneak

They can't stop until the last drop is gone
It's always the same old song
Miserable they are
Look very close you'll see the scars

To them help is not all that they need
Their addictive behavior is all they feed
Some are better off living alone
No matter where they roam, it's their addiction they must own
