I see my Sisters
And I standing at the edge
Of the Armageddon
That has lit the
Colorado Rockies
Ablaze…
Fearlessly we stand,
Faces to the warmth
Of the forest
Now a rising pyre
From the carelessness
Of one person
Who never meant
To hurt anyone.
It's the price
Of not paying attention
To the present.
It hasn't happened
Yet…
So there is still
A chance,
For us all.
At the same time
Here,
Now,
I know we are
There, then,
Because we see
The world
Is a result of
The anger
We need to
Clean from our
Hearts…
Do we need
To wait?
Or is the Vision
Enough to
Look within
And deal with
Our collective
Rage,
Before it becomes
A blaze?
How many of us
Saw that wars
Were building
Coming,
And many of us
Feeling powerless
To do anything
About it,
Looked within
And cleaned
Our collective
Resentment
From our hearts?
Would the world
Be different
Now?
Because of
What we did
Then?
If we fear
The Visions
We see,
Its time to
Look within,
To change
What we fear
Our future
To be.
