ROCK'EM SOCK'EM ROBOTS
Ronnie, Stevie, Alan, me and Bruce, 1967
When my son Stevie was a little boy
His Daddy bought him a wonderful toy
CALLED ROCK'EM SOCK'EM ROBOTS !!!!
Stevie would knock the robots down and then
They'd jump up and start fighting all over again!
We raised our boys
And they live that way too
So when fate punches us
We know what to do.
When the blows hit hard
In sorrow we may drown
But with God's help
We WILL NOT stay down!
Sure we'll cry and be sad
For a short time or a long while
But we WILL jump up!
Hey look at us !!!!
HERE COMES A SMILE (:-)
I wonder if in Heaven above
My Stevie is giving similar toys
To little boys
Who share his love
FOR ROCK'EM SOCK'EM ROBOTS <3
