The Lord is my God

To you Lord God I lift my hand
Only by your grace am I able to stand
To you Lord God shall I sing
Only by your strength can I do anything
Some have their idols, that is their choice
But you are my God, I obey only your voice
Mine is not of wood or stone
Mine cannot be copied or cloned
You dwell not in a bottle, no pill can contain
Not wrapped in paper and burned by flame
You can not be held back by fences, closed off by walls
Not born of volcanoes' or waterfalls
I don't carry you to and fro, you are already there
I don't inform you, you are already aware
Not my will, but Your will be done
For by It came the sacrifice of your Son
You are my God, in you I am able to stand
And none can deliver from Your hand
It is you I will worship, only You will I praise
To God be the glory for the rest of my days
