Caught By A Fish
One day while I was fishing
I heard the strangest sound,
I saw the water bubbles
then turned to look around.
"You can't catch me" he said
and I was caught by surprise,
he flipped around my boat
and splashed me in the eyes.
The fish leaped over my pole
and splashed into the river,
I was getting soaked by now
and the cool air made me shiver.
The hook was thrown at me
and it got me in the head,
"How does it feel now?"
is what the fish then said.
"I don't want to be your dinner
or the trout that makes you brag."
I tried to catch that fish again
but this time he placed a snag.
I went home without any fish
and I knew that I was done,
if a fish should ever talk to you
it's best to drop your pole and run.
