What if
Everyone we met
Felt loved?
Because we loved
Them if they
Came into
Any part
Of our lives?
Had a sense
Of security?
Because it was
Important to everyone
That others
Felt that sense
In their presence?
Wasn't afraid?
Not because,
They had the biggest
Gun,
But because
They had
The biggest heart?
Never had to feel
That resources
Were a scarcity?
Because we valued
As a planet
The well being
Of one,
Meant
The well being
Of us all?
What if corporations
Saw employees
Like the body
Feels about
Blood cells
Carrying precious
Oxygen?
What if this all
Began with
A poem?
And one person
Reading,
Or hearing
It?
