Poetry For Everyday People
Word Spirit
I felt a kiss
beneath the air
silent
tender
nameless
first on my neck
then softly
teasingly
on my ear
cheek
sliding down
passionately
rain on a rose
I could feel it
on my heart
a perfect light
calming me
freeing me
then
as sudden as it's arrival
nothing
just silence
without
a plug pulled
I wait for a second
but I know
I put the pen down
pour reality a glass
far away it went
and the longing
returns.
beneath the air
silent
tender
nameless
first on my neck
then softly
teasingly
on my ear
cheek
sliding down
passionately
rain on a rose
I could feel it
on my heart
a perfect light
calming me
freeing me
then
as sudden as it's arrival
nothing
just silence
without
a plug pulled
I wait for a second
but I know
I put the pen down
pour reality a glass
far away it went
and the longing
returns.
