 Whispers Of Lullaby
Retiring for the evening has new meaning
Love has had its way in both of us
as passion subsides to coos and
an embrace like no other

Your head upon my chest allows me once
again to feel how much you truly love me
and I you, as I kiss it softly and breathe
the fragrance of your hair

I run my fingers through it and gently stroke
your shoulder as you seem to find a way
to cuddle ever closer

We speak of things that dreams are made of
but with reassurance they will come to pass

Our voices become comfort food to feed upon
and like dessert already consumed we find
more room to please each other

Sighs become more evident as whispers of
lullaby are exchanged

It is here where destiny has its place for
us and we will no longer need to fear
being alone

I shall keep watch and protect you, as my arms
embrace what is to be forever

Our whispers of lullaby, sweet nothings
that mean everything to our souls that thought
we'd never find each other,
but we did

Photobucket

and I will whisper them forever more
upon your ear my love
