MORNING NEXUS
Mists of morning slowly ascend in
benediction to the day's arrival…
…incense of laurel and loam
rises up to fill the senses,
summoning the spirit to bask
in transcendence;
summer's salutation
is inescapable, but
the sweetness of the hour
bodes well for the waking sky.
Waves of gold
wash up on the shores of heaven…
…ripples in rosy hues and
pearls of diaphanous white
whisper kisses upon the aerosphere
with empyrean breath
that emanates from
Utopia's gate…
…and the advent of another autumn
draws nigh, arising from the
ashes of a season
now spent
…life's metamorphosis recommences,
its meridian rhapsodical,
feeling right and unerring,
with only one moment
of one morning more…
