 God's Love Through Poetry

Love's Embrace


Lord, You have all the answers
we as humans don't understand
for we are of a simple mind
in which you created from sand.

Sometimes we feel life should sing out
like the notes to a familiar song
where every tune is timed perfect
and we know exactly how long.

But, Life isn't that tuned
it comes just as it appears
the good with the bad
sometimes leaving us with fears.


So let us take every day and just
accept what comes through Grace
that we might trust You Lord
holding on to Love's embrace
