Into Great Silence
I was stilled by your gaze.
All the waters of your beckoning soul
Flowed into and through my heart;
I entered the great Silence with you
And the tranquil ocean surrounded me.
I know your love as a flame
Deep inside me illuminating all;
So that my mind is radiant at last
And I see, without using my eyes,
A world far beyond earthly vision;
I lose myself within your beauty
To discover what I truly am
When all the masks have turned to dust
All the waters of your beckoning soul
Flowed into and through my heart;
I entered the great Silence with you
And the tranquil ocean surrounded me.
I know your love as a flame
Deep inside me illuminating all;
So that my mind is radiant at last
And I see, without using my eyes,
A world far beyond earthly vision;
I lose myself within your beauty
To discover what I truly am
When all the masks have turned to dust
