Marshmallow Dreams
Our day was spent dreaming of them again
How soft to the touch and their taste
unlike any other
Heavens kiss is probably the only thing
that comes close to them but I would
wager it too would fall short
How I savor them and their soft feel
upon my mouth tender
They are as cotton candy and deliciously sweet
As a child I would swear nothing could ever
come close to Marshmallows
yet how wrong I was
You see, my lips become the final judge
on this subject matter
and hers are truly Marshmallow Dreams
