 Rekindled
Like fire stoked to keep alive
What you believed was once a lie
There came someone who would become
The better part of you thought done

Like a Phoenix from ashes born
You rose again from heartbreak storms
Gasping at first to catch your breath
Breathing of love much more no less

Like charcoal dormant before they came
Your heart afire stroked by new flame
Has given you more than deserved
The power of love, all yours reserved

The years of not having now become
The years of having yet still to come
To share the inner you that dreamed awake
To live the best with them and now partake

Rekindled is a heart that slept
That drowned your soul in tears yours wept
But pain no more will haunt your heart
For love has come to now impart

Photobucket

Sincerely yours, a brand new start
