Deep within my innermost being love
rises from the grimy ashes of despair to
remove the acrid smoke of painful loss,
and gently awakens the sleeping emotions
that lie quietly buried deep within me
causing me to leap with joy because it has
rescued me from this terrible unending life
of torturous despair and loneliness.
