 27. Lock & Key
Shattered in a million
Billion pieces,
Looking like
Fairy dust on the floor
Is actually the broken
Pieces of my heart,
Shattered so small
What should look
Horrific,
Appears deceptively
Beautiful.

I promised
I would finish school.
So I will.
I promised
No more than
That.

Here is the lock
And key…
I have no desire
Left.

Tell me when to eat.
Hunger has left me.
Tell me when to drink.
I have no passion
Left to thirst
For anything.
Where is my Mistress?
Where is my Master?
I need someone
To take it all
Away from me…

Tell me when
To sleep & where
For all wish
To do more
Has left me.

Where is my Mistress?
Where is my Master?

The lock and key
Lie there
In the ruby red
Glitter on the floor,
It is all that is left.

Command me.
For the ability
To even order
My limbs to move
Is… no more.

I am nothing.
I am no one.
I am empty.
I am done.

I am a shell
That will move
Upon command,
Because there
Is nothing else
Left.

Where is my Mistress?
Where is my Master?
I am no longer
My own.
