 No love story

Written at 16 years old

I was so young when i first saw you
From the top to the courtyard looking up at me
Smiling, walking through the dust, sunshine hits you like a spotlight
Wandering through you say hello
What did i know

A little bit more you try to get close
I was such a dork i never knew you'd begin to like me
I was so strange and so silly i never noticed it
Until it got close to obsession

Like i'm a princess you'd bow
You'd send flowers
You treated me like royalty
Like chocolate you never wanted to melt

Little did i know
You never meant it
I got hooked when i came back all i did was think of you
Little did i know all you'd do is break my heart in two
I thought you loved me
Little did i know ...
I was just a naive, stupid girl who wanted a love story
A story that couldn't come true

I begged you please wait for me
I'll be the woman of your fantasies and the woman of your dreams
I'll be anything you want me to be
I have to stay true to myself, but i will make you the happiest guy alive

You didn't want me
Even after everything you said
After everything you did
You were just a show off
It was just a front to make you look cool
Coz you pulled a Brit

I really think of you still as this really sweet, down-to-earth guy who'd never harm me
But i guess you did
Will i be doomed forever to be alone with no love story
