Waiting for your love

I don't need to find you

THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK

Sunny
Summer sun

Mountain air and a can of mountain dew
A chilli chip sarnie
A nice walk on the beach

Chilling out
Relaxing and talking
Watching tv
Laughing and joking
Oh those moments where's a chest freezer when you need one so bad

You told me everything you hoped your life could be
You told me all your problems
Remember when i advised you and said it will all be ok in the end just work hard and it will pay off
You began to tell me how much you began to like me
You put your arm around me i felt so safe and secure just like i did with my dad MAY HE REST IN PEACE

Like toast i was buttered up
you told me i was so beautiful
You told me you loved my eyes
You said the sea can't reflect the stars as much as my eyes

I said you were tall, dark and handsome

I had to come back to the UK
I said i'd come back and visit
I gave you my phone to keep i said its ok i'll get another
You said you'd always love me forever
A promise you'd never break my heart
A promise i'd come above everything else

You promised honesty and loyalty

I trusted you with all my heart
I came back i got you out of debt, got you into school
Got you out and about again so you can enjoy your life again

I helped your mother
It wasn't easy to come i had to be loyal to friends and family
So i said to you to wait
I got you clothes you said you wanted so bad
I got you everything
Someday debt hit the neck

I couldn't call you much
Card companies were con artists in a great disguise, but they couldn't fool me
To call you i needed a mobile top up plus a card
Your landline had been cut

I said make a facebook it would be easy, but who'd have thought you'd abuse me with the net
I'll never forget the day you left me for some cheap ho
To get dumped and to be the pimp trying to crawl back underneath me
I won't let you inside me ever again

If only i could turn back time, but would it be wise coz at least technology showed me the man behind the mask
