WEB AND DORCAS
It is the love story of a lifetime.
Web and Dorcas were in love, I mean real love
the kind that last,thou death do they part.
I have never seen true love to be equaled.
I think they gave hope to everyone else.
Web passed away years ago,
he was a tall handsome man, a real man's man.
And always ready with a joke, flash of a smile, never holdin back a grin,
he put his family first, worked hard and gave all of himself to them.
Web was called to Jesus before his time.
Broken hearted, Dorcas stood strong,
there was two kids, and grandchildren left behind.
It wasn't his intention to go so soon,
but Jesus had other plans for Web.
The hardest part of leaving, was being separated from Dorcas
he loved this lady till the very end.
Early this morning at 80 years of age,
her broken heart finally gave way.
Dorcas has started her journey,in search of her beloved Web.
I know he'll be there to take her in his arms.
He'll say " Honey what took you so long"
And she'll look up into his face with that special smile
"Darlin I had children who needed me,
but their all grown now with kids of their own.
So I'm free, it's just you and me, we'll be together forever more.
Here comes the angels with my wings.
So when you think of Web and Dorcas
Picture them flying around together holding hands.
Happy at last just being free.
I bet they're searching for good Rook Players, only need four.
I wonder if there are Rook playing Angels in heaven?
I'm sure there are for Web and Dorcas,
heaven wouldn't be heaven without a good game of Rook.
