We must be followers to come under persecution
By serving Jesus comes forth the accuser of the brethren
Pray that we may be counted worthy at that time
Glory be to God a reward shall be yours and mine
Through the blood of Jesus a perfect sacrifice was made
Whosoever shall call upon His name shall be saved
Our mind is the battlefield each and every day
The spirit is willing but the flesh will lead us astray
If we're to be followers of Jesus this is what He said;
We must pick up our cross and follow Him each day
We are to crucify the flesh and renew our mind
Meditating on God's word both day and night
We are to take our thoughts captive unto the
obedience of Christ
To think on things above leaving the past behind
Don't look back as Lot's wife did way back then
She was turned into a pillar of salt for disobeying Him
Press forward to the mark of your most high calling
Be soldiers of the cross not stumbling and falling
Every christian is called to become a disciple
It is the root word of discipline to read and share the bible
We are told let the redeemed of the Lord say so
It is through our testimony we can reach lost souls
As well as in Revelation it is written to see
They overcame him by the blood of the lamb
and the word of their testimony
We must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ
We're not to entangle ourselves in the things of this life
Peter walked on water but his thoughts caused him to sink
By taking his eyes off of Jesus wrong thoughts he did think
As a man thinks in his heart so is he
For thoughts become words then words reality
Both life and death is in the power of the tongue
And it is written man shall eat the fruit there of
If you sow to the flesh then to the flesh you will reap
To sow unto the spirit it's God's word we must keep
It's impossible to please God without having faith
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God,He saith
Therefore put you on the Lord Jesus Christ
Which is the full armor of God to fight
For greater is He that is in you than he that's in the world
Be stedfast in love using the word as your sword
Most of our battles can be fought on bended knees
And when you pray always believe to receive
Come on christian soldiers God's kingdom is at hand

4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs

Heb.12:11-16

nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness
