 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

I will break into thought with what's written on my heart Pictures, Images and Photos

Earth tilted on its axis today;
though the season is warm,
suddenly life has grown cold

There is no need anymore
of forsaken promises or
feigned acceptance

Silence deafens the halls of the soul
without the sound of love filling it,
no happy conversation

There is no tempering a mind
determined to allow
fear to dictate

Wariness springs up within
and familiar walls begin
constructing themselves

There is only unwillingness now
to delve beneath the surface,
mine gems of truth

Hollowness within the fractures
of a broken heart is where
bleeding emotions seep

There is a trickle of hope yet,
beginning to bubble up
in wells of memory

Loneliness is a sharp instrument
in the hands of a lost dream,
slicing to the quick

There is though a yearning
to repair to another day
and heal all over again

Perhaps love will be the catalyst
this time to overcome a useless
emotion so ingrained

and let the world be as it was.
