Growth in Grace
God has rescued us from the dark,
As tempted where we do embark;
And being saved with His power,
Whence from any given hour.
He has brought us into a place,
Where He has been shedding His grace;
The place victory has been won,
Within the kingdom of His Son.
Because His Son has paid the price,
Upon the cross through sacrifice;
And breaking us free from the sin,
That is corrupting us within.
So our sins are forgiven,
For our passage to Heaven;
The first born of all creation,
Has given our salvation.
For He has created all things,
In Heaven and earth that it brings;
Visible as well as unseen,
What is present and that has been.
He has been existing before,
And will exist forever more;
As well as the first and the last,
For our future and the past.
