My Words; My Way...I wanted to send this message, Just to thank you, and say to you, The things that I want to say, And this is how my words come through. I thought I was really losing the plot, Cos my head is all over the place, Oh I have tried to be ‘normal' again, But I just can't do it with grace. It's all these stupid feelings, And these tears do my head in! I try to face it and put it to bed, But at the moment, I just can't win! But, you've made me feel a bit better, About how I think and how I feel inside, Cos you said that this is kinda normal, To still deal with the fact I might have died. And this silly, stupid business of cars! Thinking they'll hit me from the left side, Is really, really doing my head in, And so many awful tears I have cried. I think you thought it was normal? When I saw you, though I was a mess, So I tell myself it's ok to be like this, And in time it will stop, I guess? No! I know I will get through this! And I know that you feel this too! Cos I am told this is a normal reaction, That which I am going through! So, it's only a silly malfunction!! And I am sure I will win in the end! Cos I need to get my life back! I need to make my car, once more, my friend! A day at a time, it my motto for others, Who are having a glitch in life! So I think I should apply this to me, And deal with the horrors of this strife! And when that happens, I will know! Cos my life will go back as before, I will hop in the car whenever I want! And I won't have these fears anymore! So thank you for your kindness, And your words of wisdom too! Cos you're the man, and so I believe! That I will one day – come through! And I'm getting there!!
