Rejoice under Trials
Be quick to listen,
But be slow to speak;
To be a Christian,
Compliance you seek.
Comply with the Word,
In all that you do;
Follow what you heard,
Every day through.
You should not anger,
God does not sanction;
Thoughts that are vulgar,
Or wicked action.
Rid your behavior,
Of immoral things;
To please your Savior,
Through blessing He brings.
You will have a test,
Tempted by a lure;
And you will be blessed,
Choosing the right door.
But if not certain,
Be willing to share;
That which does burden,
With the Lord in prayer.
