Hold Me Close...
Tell Me What To Do
My Precious Savior Hold me Close
From my heart remove this pain
I really don't understand
what could now be their gain
I have backed away as I was told to do
with lips still and heart broken.
Yet the haltered still spills
as a daily returned token.
A Mother's heart
is supposed to be strong
Withstanding a child's painful words
but it has gone on so long.
One cast out deep hurtful words
while the other is deeply amused
It is so hard to ignore
this hate that is used
My children I knew
one day would stray
But this is times two
She has taken my grandchildren away
I fall on bended knee
looking for help from above
Please help me deal
with this total absence of love
Of this world
I no longer wish to be
To the daily pain
no end do I see
Please help me Lord
and lead the way
Away from this pain
they insist that I pay.
God Please Tell Me What To Do
