A vital truth I've come to share today
The devil has a playbook to lead many astray
If God's Word is taken out of context it's a pre-text
It's to be read line upon line and precept upon precept
I've always been drawn to the King James bible
Down through the years was told it was most reliable
Just recently I was truly enlightened to see
When my Dear Sis in Christ Ginger sent a pamplet to me
I've lost count of the bibles that I personally own
I would imagine most every version known
Although my King James is the one I read most
I have pulled out the others to look up a certain post
There's been a few times I've posted the others with poems
In hopes that layman terms could bring the message home
I found myself repenting for the few times to the Lord today
The pamplet truly shed light on the truth so I must relay
Back several years ago I'd hear of this but knew very little
But later found it was written not to change one jot or tittle
Which means not leaving out a dot or crossing of a "t"
Before reading the pamplet I didn't realize the severity
Literally thousands of verses have been removed
Replacement of words corrupting the truth
It seemed to me the NIV most widely used was the worst
I vow now not to share none without also the King James verse
While it is true that it was the scrolls that came first
I believe wholeheartily KJV is unperverted and closest
Of having God's word as He had originally intended
The others are perverting His word as it was written
I do believe the devil has found a playbook
To steer people away from the truth to look
Into easy reading to bait and hook
If it isn't God's words the truth we've forsook
I have a Jewish Tanakh translation of the O.T.
When comparing to my King James I can see
Overall the King James is in like comparison to read
I pray that all will be advised and take heed
Many say the King James they can't understand
Jesus wrote in parables as His own divine plan
Without a relationship with Him comes no revelation
The Holy spirit will reveal all truth unto God's children
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by God's word
To make reference is okay but His truth must be heard
For it is the truth that will make you free
His unadulterated word is life and shortcuts will deceive many
I trust in the guidance of the precious Holy Spirit
This inspiration was given for you to adhere to it
If the word of God is to be read line upon line and
precept upon precept
His word will be corrupted by verses missing and neglected
I read if anyone tries to enter except through the door
He will be considered a thief
Would that not be an abomination to the Lord
Pray for wisdom and with that get understanding I emplor
