Poetic Verses
Don't Complain
There you sit, moaning and groaning in bit of pain
Remember this and as long and possible retain
That no matter the situation confronting you
There is someone a bit worse off and that is true.
When on those occasion, there is that complaint, of feeling hungry
This you can rectify for certain and quite easily
Then as you sit in your zeal, your inner thoughts should reveal
To you that somewhere someone cannot remember when was the last meal.
As you sit in your house, well decorated so comfortably
Then in the evening relaxing in the shade of the balcony
Later that night as you watch the news on your T.V.
You can see people, from their homes readily flee.
Living in a country that promotes freedom of speech
In some cases certain information is easy to reach
Whilst in some places the press is muzzle and censor
So that the only information out is that of propaganda.
There is little of no problem when you want to leave your land
You can make arrangements to take a cruise, as part of that holiday plan
Elsewhere people have great difficulty to travel even within their own country
Then you can understand what they must undergo, to make a trip externally.
So therefore, even if a little difficult come your way
There may be a plan afoot to make it go away
But for some people in some places this is a way of life
Enduring many uncertainties, brought on by internal strife.
