Subjection over Temptation
You know that the times,
Where we live today;
With so many crimes,
As most disobey.
Knowing the season,
So time to awake;
And find the reason,
Why many forsake.
Salvation is near,
Closer than before;
So then we must fear,
Of the tempting lure.
So get rid of things,
That is of the dark;
Deception it brings,
An insecure mark.
Take up your weapons,
That is of the light;
With love that beckons,
As God will delight.
So live just like Christ,
Forget desires;
That you were enticed,
By burning fires.
