A Synthetic Soul

Watching you (Part 5)

Found on her bed all covered in blood.
Her wrist were cut, saved only by gods pure love.
Her neighbor had heard a commotion, and saw him frantically leave.
Called the police immediately, but afraid of what might be.
Rushed to the hospital and there she was saved.
Gradually recovered, but never over the psychological pain.
She bolted her doors, and locked her windows at night.
Scared and alone, she lived her life in fright.
She knew he was out there, but never knew where.
Unsure if he wanted her dead, or just to live scared.
But unknown to her he hadn't gone far.
She looks down at her wrist, and cries at her scars.
She's afraid to leave her home or to trust people again.
She's bound and determined, to never fall to him.
He has landed his eyes on her sister, for they have never met.
He's been watching her for months, and one day sees her upset.
Setting in a bar he approaches her and he calms her down.
She looks at him and smiles, as he tells her he's from out of town.
The two begin to talk, but then she has to go.
She hasn't any money so then he takes her home.
She gives him her number, and says “Maybe we can go out sometime”
He says, “I could pick you up tomorrow night, how about 9?”
So here she is now, falling for a stranger.
Staring into his eyes, oblivious to any danger.
She really likes him, and he seems into her.
They had a great date, couldn't have been better.
She turns to him and says “I think I'm Falling for you”
And then he smiles, but still unknown to her his secret she never knew.
