You can claim courage from God's promises.
May I give you a few examples?
When you are confused:
“‘I know what I am planning for you'
says the Lord. ‘I have good plans for you,
not plans to hurt you'” (Jeremiah 29:11).
On those nights when you wonder where God is:
“I am the Holy One, and I am among you”
(Hosea 11:9).

Personal note: I have claimed Jer. 29:11 as
my life verse because I know God has a plan
for me and His plans will never hurt me.
Even through all the trials I have endured,
God is faithful and He alone gives me
strength from day to day. Many times, I
can look back and see how He has brought
good from a difficult situation. God is
completely trustworthy. Whatever trial
you are facing today, trust Him to see
you through. You may not see the results
for years, or even while you are still
here on earth, but all believers in
Jesus have great eternal hope that our
trials will all end when we reach
heaven someday. I pray that Jesus
lives inside your heart today, because
personal faith in Him is the only way
to heaven!
