 Free Me This Day
If one last kiss you would bestow
Upon my lips today I'd know
That 56 years was not so long
To feel that with you is where I belong

Tied I've been to the mast of this ship
Where bound I was before your lips
Pressed against mine you call your own
No longer now to sail alone

Untie these ropes before we crash
Upon the rocks that try to dash
My hopes are now eternal love
Because of you, GOD me thought of

It's been years since last I was
Someone to hold, a just because
I knew one day you'd come to free
Relieve burdens, become destiny

Quickly please remove what ties
My hands, my life, what's left of cries
To skies once dark now turning blue
The sun now shines, it's you love drew

The rocks by shore are closing in
The need is now, to now begin
Begin anew to live our dreams
Where nightmares once upon us schemed
