Celebrate the poet
even those too dumb to know it....
Here i sit all blankie
can't think of anything to write,
may need a hankie
cause i'll cry now all night.
I feel more myself it's true
when the pen flows free,
but boo hoo hoo
nuttin comin to me.
Well i reckon my mind needs breaks
that's what i hear anyway,
i'm not a machine for pity sakes
tomorrow's another day.
If i sit and ponder
something may come along,
i just happen to prefer
a poem in my heart or sompin's wrong.
It's not all i'm good for
but it's what i'm best at,
and 1 thing i can't ignore
for having imagination....
on the back i give myself a pat.
You gots ta have self worth
cause you're stuck w/yourself till the end,
now just what on earth
was i crying about
another poem i easily penned?!
