 A fool just like me

I know a false alarm
I know a man with a cry
I've seen my dad cry for me
He sat beside me praying to God i'd survive
Guess what i am still here his tears were real
They fell off his face into my mouth
Salty as Makalla beach

Who knows your cry may have been real
On the phone who can tell only the Al-mighty
See i wasn't there it sounded fake
Your nose wasn't runny
You didn't even blow
Nor even a teeny weeny sniff

What was the cry for
Was it for me
Or are you just crying coz you lost what you could have had
Did you feel like an idiot
Or did you just cry coz there is nobody who will care
Like a fool
Just like me
