The group made me cry
So many memories just from a photo
I saw the group on facebook
It made me cry
The old classrooms i had all my tantrums in
The ones i had all the good times in
The ones i had all the bad times in
The ones that made me into the girl i am
The log that we so dearly played on, i wish the tree well, but that log was always there it was wonderful
The benches and all the sounds i remember
Even the screams and the rattling of the benches when girls were so nearly caught and jumped on them during tiggy off the ground
The dinnerhall, the dinner ladies
The tv and music room, the hall, we had the best apparatus, the balance beam was superb so was the climbing frame
Physical education was so important i never remember a dull moment except when i suffered after being in hospital
Yet eventually i was chosen for more teams by generous people
All the photos i even found my sister
I remember one of my teachers when she had a bob and now you can see what she looked like back then you know she still looks amazing for her age
Looks twenty years younger than 55
It was wonderful to find her on facebook and i found my other teacher too he was the best
The trips were the best ever the country side just 10 minutes away on the valley
Just across the road was a wonderful field for our lovely sports day
I loved the talent shows and our special assembly guests it was lovely
I miss the caretakers they were so sweet
Like the smell of the sweet beautiful strong disinfectant he used all the time
Right next to the school he lived he cared so much, his wife a wonderful dinner lady
I miss childhood, but its time to embrace adulthood not fear it
So lovely i found many of my friends through the group it only took one student who had the best days of their lives there to make this group and now we can relive the moments we had there forever
