The thought of stupid things you did
They run in your head
You soon realize a child is a child
You did stupid things too
You lost your temper
You may have whacked your mom and dad
Can't have high expectations
Children don't understand you can't make them see things your way always all the time
It takes so much time and very much patience if anything it takes will power
No mommy is super mom or wonder mama
It takes time just hold yourself
Remember the way you talk to them is how they will talk to you
Someday you'll grow up and wonder where all your manners were when you were teaching them
Hold your breath
They're not here to cause you harm
Just wait it takes time for physical growth as well as mental and emotional
So all you can do is wait patiently for them to learn
Keep correcting them gently and with clever knowledge should they then learn beautifully and calmly
