WE CAN NEVER PLEASE EVERYONE

It is a fact of life we can never please everyone
Some want you to only like those that they like
Yet others say no they're bad they use people

I hate to burst any ones bubble but I am an adult
I've been around this world a few times you know
I can tell the difference between both good & evil

So please understand if I sometimes get annoyed
But I'm no child any longer I can take care of myself
Please respect the fact that I know what I'm doing

I am very particular when I'm choosing my friends
Some can't seem to understand that it's my life
If they can't then maybe they should move along

This is for those here who try to tell me who I should or
shouldn't be friends with here at PoetryPoem.com,  and
then try to label me for liking some poet that they don't.
Well I'm an older man now and I've seen the best and
worst in people all over the world  and I judge them on
how they interact with me not by how others feel about
them, so I'm not playing the childish games that so many
play here. I'm a highly trained observer who can spot the
fake friends from real friends quite easily and I tell things
the way they really are like it or not. If you are a person
who can't  deal with that kind of honesty in life, then you
should probably just move on to someone else's site.
