Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Lava Droplets
I can feel the lava droplets
Splash and scathe me.
My mind blooms a
Nest of guilt waiting
To choke the life from me.
I slither, I'm a snake
Wrapped around the moon,
Hissing at my own rattle
And denying my prey life.
They catch me, screaming
Deadly cries into the hot
And heavy wind, my lifeless
Tongue dangling from
My cracked lips.
They chase me from the only
Normal I've got, a handful
Of horrible trickery
That has me costumed as a heathen.
10-1-10
Splash and scathe me.
My mind blooms a
Nest of guilt waiting
To choke the life from me.
I slither, I'm a snake
Wrapped around the moon,
Hissing at my own rattle
And denying my prey life.
They catch me, screaming
Deadly cries into the hot
And heavy wind, my lifeless
Tongue dangling from
My cracked lips.
They chase me from the only
Normal I've got, a handful
Of horrible trickery
That has me costumed as a heathen.
