The Power of Prayer
If any of you have trouble,
Take it unto the Lord in prayer;
Better do it on the double,
So you will be able to share.
If you are happy sing a song,
Loud enough for others to hear;
Be sure to sing it all day long,
So you can be spreading good cheer.
If you find yourself feeling sick,
As it is making you feel weak;
And contact the church elders quick,
Have them pray for healing to seek.
If you have sinned be sure you pray,
Admit your guilt as you confess;
His forgiveness will come your way,
If you make amends He will bless.
Admit your sins to each other,
Pray together you will be healed;
They are your sister or brother,
That strengthens your spiritual shield.
Prayers offered by those in God,
Are very effective and clear;
If you truly honor and laud,
And if prayers are really sincere.
