full moon in sight - youth delight©

Halloween is simply a fun holiday
because we decorate and dress up,
doesn't mean to evil we give our soul away.
We give the kids candy,
to make them happy.
The idea of the sometimes spooky disguise,
is to try and guess who's in front of our eyes.
The more spooky the better to trick+compete,
and see which witch gets the better treat.
They're not being exploited as some think,
fun is the key word-the missing link.
The only darkness i can find,
is losing sight of that and being blind.
When it's all over&of candy their bellies full,
they don't go around worshiping the devil.
This is just my opinion of common sense,
to those who feel different i mean no offense.
May the full moon on halloween night,
keep you young so of fun you don't lose sight.
I'm sorry i just happen to see red,
for misunderstandings on which minds can be fed.
I'll drink to that with spooky punch for heaven's sake,
it does NOT mean the devil my soul will take.
I don't think this playful ritual should end no way,
for to do that it'd be 1 less thing for the youth today!

If the witch gets an itch
she might sneakingly snatch
your best batch.
Then i have a hunch
her bloody stump
will be in your punch!
