A BAG OF YUMMY - Happy Halloween







A BAG OF YUMMY

An eerie ring circled the moon
something or someone on WHAT! a Broom!

Chortles cackling could be heard through the night
ravens and bats flying up to the sky's height



On a broom in the woods a young witch did ride
Her black cat close to her side

Shining eyes peeked through the trees
Black cats and owls they did tease




Orange rays flashed in the sky
chains pulling - ghost screaming - could be heard to cry

Terrified children who had been looking for fun
Crunched hiding - hoping their legs will let them run



Up racing to their home they did flee
falling down alone the way scraping their knees

The race with the monsters they did win
Huddling behind the door afraid to move to their chagrin

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Okay little ones it time for bed
Off the T V  goes - a bedtime story is to be told

Tomorrow is  Halloween - a time for trick or treat
You can dress up in your costumes and go down the street



A bag of yummy you will collect
Be sure to say thank you with respect
