 Season of the Witch

As the end of October comes once again;
Days become more colorful, shorter, and cooler.
Looking out into the starry cloudless night;
The moon shining, I feel that magic in my soul.

Delightful wood nymphs dance at my feet;
The party is beginning for All Hollow's Eve.
A fairy lights upon my shoulder and whispers;
“You know it must be the season of the witch.”

The secret is told to me, my eyes become alive;
Searching the darkness for that magical woman.
A chill of excitement runs down my spine as I see;
A  bright pair of crystal blue eyes looking at me.

My heart races, as a sweat breaks on my brow;
The Queen of the Forest steps from the shadows.
Her eyes look straight into my marrow and my blood;
She speaks, “It must be the season of the witch”

Frozen with excitement, with awe, and with passion;
Unable to speak, as I simply look into her eyes.
With patience and kindness she touches my hand;
My blood runs hot, a fire ignites within my soul.

Stepping into her arms, I embrace her with passion;
Unable to think,  I'm only barely able to breathe.
She lightly kisses my neck, then kisses my waiting lips;
This magic that I feel must be the season of the witch.

Happy Halloween
