Before Today
She was one with GOD before I came
A peace in her still hers sustained
Asleep before my eyes we rest next to
Angel this heart wished for and drew
There was a time I did not know
How much of her we would need so
But One much more wise than me
Would make it so to now believe
Before today though I too walked
More so at times often more balked
At how unfair at times life was
To breathe useless, useless my cause
But she would come to save the day
Along with GOD who made the way
For one to change and become two
Where love was drawn by His hands too
I pray that all will come to pass
Though short time's been since I saw last
The Sun that rose just yesterday
In Blue eyes hers where heart mine stayed
