A Concern for People
As a Christian I must tell you,
Not a lie rather it is true;
My own thoughts are able to see,
The Holy Spirit supports me.
I have a very deep sorrow,
For the outlook on tomorrow;
That is causing me a heartache,
Which has been keeping me awake.
I wish my mind would be unsound,
Renounced and buried in the ground;
Even could have been sacrificed,
Being cut off from Jesus Christ.
The adopted children of God,
No longer honor and laud;
Even though they have had rebirth,
But live like children of the earth.
They have the glory of the Lord,
But yet they have merely ignored;
And know just what Moses had taught,
But other idols they have sought.
But the Messiah will come soon,
When the trumpet will sound its tune;
The chosen gathered in the crowd,
Will be taken into the cloud.
